Purpose: To support Hope Hall’s mission by managing all fundraising events and external communications. Functions as a key member of the Advancement Team with individual responsibilities for fundraising activities and key support roles for major fundraising events, and other fundraising and marketing activities.
Job Summary: This position plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and promotion of fundraising and community events at Hope Hall School. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination of events, from inception to completion, while managing a comprehensive communications calendar to effectively engage stakeholders. By collaborating with various teams, the coordinator will promote the school’s mission, enhance community involvement, and drive attendance and support for fundraising events.
General Responsibilities:
- Produce and manage fundraising events and other special events including, but not limited to:
Planning from conception to execution
Securing corporate sponsorships
Creation of visual elements and printed materials
Liaison to vendors and sponsors
Promotion of events
Coordinate, supervise, and train event volunteers
- Manage Advancement Department’s Communication calendar, including scheduling of graphics and content to ensure consistent messaging across all media platforms
- Manage all aspects of communications including, but not limited to:
content creation
graphic design layout
photography
engaging with vendors and/or donors while following Hope Hall’s policies and procedures.
- Projects may include, but are not limited to:
press releases
event flyers
newsletters
brochures
social media updates
other fundraising collateral.
- In coordination with the Director of Advancement, create and manage a comprehensive communications calendar.
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Advancement to create a consistent, effective look for Hope Hall School’s outreach and messaging materials.
- Take photos or arrange for photos to be taken as needed to be used in communications materials.
- Oversee timely and accurate updates to the website and the cohesiveness between the website and all media platforms.
- Act as liaison to the Event Committees.
- Provide monthly events and communication reports to the Director of Advancement, in advance of Board meetings.
- Support other areas of the Advancement Department, as needed.

Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associates with necessary experience.
- Experience: 5 - 7 years related work experience.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with approaching prospective businesses and donors to solicit and secure event support.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite. Raiser’s Edge and Asana Preferred.

Computer / Software Skills:
- Raiser’s Edge experience preferred
- Microsoft Office: Knowledgeable in all applications
- Google Suite
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk and frequent stairs. Required to move about multi-level building using stairs.
- Occasionally required to bend and/or lift (no more than 25 pounds).
Work Environment:
- Educational setting; ability to work with students
